My husband and I had never been to Istanbul. Although we travel a lot, we’ve never booked a tour anywhere. We are so glad we did in Istanbul. Our guide he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the city…its architecture, its history, rugs, and on and on. We weren’t interested in visiting the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market with him, correctly deciding we could do that on our own. So we spent the day walking around old Istanbul, visiting Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and other sites. By the end of the day, we were good friends with Gokhan and plan to see him again, either in the States, where he travels frequently, or in Greece, where we have a house on the Peloponnese.

As part of our trip to Turkey, we spent one day in the historic peninsula of Istanbul, where Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palaca and some other historic monuments stand. Our guide Gokhan gave us incredible sense of the history of the city and the amazing structures we visited. He was quick and satisfactory with his answers to our many questions and he really enjoyed what he was doing. It was like spending a day in Istanbul with a friend, who really knows about it.

In Istanbul, we were picked up right at the cruise ship at the appointed time and boarded a large van for just the four of us. You can book the tour on-line ahead of time, and you can pick and choose the sights you want to see. Overall, more reasonable than the ship tours, and a lot more flexibility, this tour company is great.

    参加私人伊斯坦堡一日游的最大好处是,除了有专业的中文导游一路讲解和介绍,我们的导游大海先生还带领我们洗了土耳其浴及吃了刀削烤羊肉卷,让我们体验了当地人的日常生活。

ephesus tours

The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
