After leaving the Hippodrome, you will finally have the opportunity to do some haggling at the Grand Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is like any bazaar except that, as its explains, it is all within one huge building. Hagia Sophina is very beautiful. I highly reccomend. It was crowded even in October but totally worth seeing.
From lanterns to Turkish delight to rugs to toys and spices, the Grand Bazaar was both beautiful, the colour and life you'd expect from a bustling bazaar and had a great range of items to choose from. Careful not to get lost as it's quite big!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us the stories relating to each of the sites we visited. All this was arranged over the internet, so we headed into unknown territory, but it all worked extremely well. Lunch was also included.
Hippodrome is close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Very Historical if with a guide, if not, read up on it before visit. Good place to people watch from one of the cafes there.
