We enjoyed our trip on the Bosporus. We got to see many beautiful homes and some historical sites that we would never have seen by land. The Bosporus is lively with many different kinds of boats and ships. It is a wonderful way to relax and sightsee at the same time.

Hagia Sophi, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Basilica all in the same vicinity and it is cool to see up to 1000 year or more history in walking distances. IT IS AMAZINGLY beautiful.
If you are in Istanbul you must have a cruise ride.
Enjoyed the Hagia Sophia much more than the Blue Mosque even though a large area was blocked by the huge scaffolding. The slowly uncovered mosaics and paintings under the plaster made this place a more interesting sight to see. You have to go up to the upper level to see these clearly.
Hippodrome is one of the nicest places to visit in Istanbul, esp if you are looking for something hundreds of years old, yet maintained in a very clean, interesting manner. The Hippodrome is the Roman name for this place which was made for horse and chariot racing in Roman times. Classic fountains, gorgeous old trees….
Wonderful tour! Our guide Taylan was very informative, pleasant and was able to guide us to the major sites that we wanted to see.. He took us to a great restaurant where we enjoyed great Turkish food in a wonderful atmosphere and with very good service.. We loved Turkey and the people we met were very friendly…We highly recommend this tour!

Not much to say about bridges: they get you from point A to point B and back again. This one joins two continents and two halves of a city on two continents. I have not been on it but have been beneath it on a cruise ship and most recently on a dinner cruise.
If you have the chance to visit Istanbul and get to know the best out of it, you should know Gokhan, our fantastic guide. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with his organized, efficient, smooth running, and cost efficient program. Our trip to istanbul was really so wonderful and so memorable.
I would like to thank him for the excellent job he did while guiding our tour through Turkey. Very professional and also very patient. His great sense of humour made our tour very ,very enjoyable.
I now have a greater understanding of this nice country and would definetely love to come back again
