Get a close look at the stunning volcanic rock formations as you fly up approximately 1,000 feet

Enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast before your flight

Toast with a glass of Champagne and receive a complimentary souvenir medal

Choose a 1-hour or 1.5-hour flight

  • The Cappadocia region of Turkey is the perfect location for a hot-air balloon flight, thanks to its outstandingly beautiful landscapes and great weather conditions. After complimentary pickup from your hotel by comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, take in views of the Turkish countryside as you head to the hot-air balloon office, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast of fruit, pastries, meats and salads.
  • Head to the nearby launch field and watch as your 100-foot tall (30-meter) hot-air balloon is inflated before boarding the balloon basket with your experienced pilot. Then, up you go!
  • Feel the subtle motion of the balloon as it lifts up over the stunning volcanic landscape. On your safe, scenic, flight, enjoy panoramic views of the Cappadocia relief, a high plateau standing more than 3,281 feet (1,000 meters) above sea level and pierced by tall, thin volcanic spires.
  • As you fly through the Cappadocia valleys, take a close look at the rock formations and listen to your pilot’s interesting commentary about Cappadocia’s history and geological formations. See churches and houses carved into the rocks as the balloon climbs approximately 1,000 feet (300 meters).
  • After your flight, raise your glass for a Champagne toast while being presented with a silver or gold medal as a flight souvenir. Then, relax on the drive back to your hotel.
  • The 1-hour flight holds up to 20 people; for a more intimate experience, take the 1.5-hour ride, which guarantees a maximum of 12 people.

First, I would note, I am a chicken and never thought I would want to get in hot air balloon. But, the notion of seeing Cappadocia from the air was too much to resist. The view was great seeing close to 80 or 90 hot air balloons up in the air on that day and we flew as high as 12000 ft. We had a great ride with plenty of safety measures taken into consideration throughout the ride and during the take-off and landing.

The ride started at 6.00am where we were able to capture the early morning but it was clouldy so no rising sun.

We were travelling with a tour group through Turkey but the ballooning was not part of the itinerary. However we had been advised to try to arrange a flight as it was a very rewarding experience for those who had done it.

There are actually no words to describe the feeling when you’re standing in the balloon and get to see the magic of this area. It’s absolutely breath taking and stunning. Don’t hesitate to book it and you’ll definitely have a one-life-experience!

I would highly, highly recommend hot air balloon flights in Cappadocia, it was just amazing. I was a bit worried it would be scary, because I'm not great with heights, but it was so gentle and peaceful and the captain and crew were lovely – one of the best mornings of my life.

No words can describe the beauty, the magic of balloon flights in cappadocia great experience. Everything was well organized from the pick-up at the hotel at 4:30 AM and the return around 7:30 AM, the offering of tea, coffee and snacks before the flight, and bubbly after. The landscape is beautiful from the ground but from the air it becomes magical. You expect to see some little magical creature come out of the Troglodytic houses in the rocks below. A once in a lifetime experience!

We took a balloon tour on our second day in Cappadocia. The whole experience went on smoothly until the landing time where the pilot overshot the intended spot hitting a small tree and landing on the side of the basket. Although, the crew tried to make fun of it say it was a nice landing.

An amazing experience with Ballooon trip over the Cappadocia village, it’s once in a life time experince with beautiful view over the world heritage village. I can assure that it will be an experience you will never forget.

    However, some tips:
    1) do book in advance.
    2) book early trip like 5am-ish to 6am in order to see the first sun
    3) wear warm cloth, it will be cold in the morning
    4) wear comfy shies and pants and u will need to claim up and down from the balloon
    5) wear your hat, there’s a lot of dust from the balloon when it starts to go up
    6) prepare enough battery for your camera/ phone, there will be nothing to do up there but taking pictures
    7) pick the standing spot to be outter edge of balloon, so u can take photo without others heads in yr photo.

While ballooning is fabulous to begin with, the magnificent and unique terrain of Cappadocia raises the experience to a fascinating new level. I spent 29 years as a military aviator, and have to say that this is among the most scenic experiences I have enjoyed. Our pilot was very professional, and gave us a thorough safety briefing before we climbed into the gondola. Dipping down into the valleys was terrific. We were with a group of fun loving neighbors, and this was the “icing on our cake”. A must do on any trip to Cappadocia.

The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
