Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Tours

Admire incredible panoramic views of the Cappadocia region from the air

Get a close look at the stunning volcanic rock formations as you fly up approximately 1,000 feet

Enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast before your flight

Toast with a glass of Champagne and receive a complimentary souvenir medal

Choose a 1-hour or 1.5-hour flight

  • The Cappadocia region of Turkey is the perfect location for a hot-air balloon flight, thanks to its outstandingly beautiful landscapes and great weather conditions. After complimentary pickup from your hotel by comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, take in views of the Turkish countryside as you head to the hot-air balloon office, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast of fruit, pastries, meats and salads.
  • Head to the nearby launch field and watch as your 100-foot tall (30-meter) hot-air balloon is inflated before boarding the balloon basket with your experienced pilot. Then, up you go!
  • Feel the subtle motion of the balloon as it lifts up over the stunning volcanic landscape. On your safe, scenic, flight, enjoy panoramic views of the Cappadocia relief, a high plateau standing more than 3,281 feet (1,000 meters) above sea level and pierced by tall, thin volcanic spires.
  • As you fly through the Cappadocia valleys, take a close look at the rock formations and listen to your pilot’s interesting commentary about Cappadocia’s history and geological formations. See churches and houses carved into the rocks as the balloon climbs approximately 1,000 feet (300 meters).
  • After your flight, raise your glass for a Champagne toast while being presented with a silver or gold medal as a flight souvenir. Then, relax on the drive back to your hotel.
  • The 1-hour flight holds up to 20 people; for a more intimate experience, take the 1.5-hour ride, which guarantees a maximum of 12 people.

Cappadocia has unreal amazing landscape which makes Balloon flights one of worlds the top 3. Since it was quite expensive, my wife and I decided that I should take the tour alone. But on behind, I wished that she should have join me. AMZING !

We booked Kapadokya Balloons It was well worth the extra as most of the other balloons had landed when we were just halfway. One of the best ways to discover this magic land is flying over Cappadocia in a hot air balloon. The spectacular surrealistic landscapes..

Cappadocia balloon tours amazing this is a must-do experience for visitors to the Cappadocia region. This was my first hot air balloon trip which was exhilerating. An early start as we were up before sunrise, it was quite cold (in Apr) so layers is a must!

No words can describe the beauty, the magic of this experience balloon rides In Cappadocia. Everything was well organized from the pick-up at the hotel at 4:30 AM and the return around 7:30 AM, the offering of tea, coffee and snacks before the flight, and bubbly after. The landscape is beautiful from the ground but from the air it becomes magical.

I was initially a bit hesitant about making this trip as some accidents had been reported in UK press. I am so glad I decided to go ahead. We arrived to see the ballon being inflated as we had coffee and cookies. The experience itself was outstanding. We watched the sunrise and other balloons floating above us then it was our turn to board. This was the most difficult part of the trip as I needed help to clamber aboard.Once we took off it was just lovely to float up and look down on the strangest and most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. Lava formations seemed like fairytale castles and the cave dwellings could be clearly seen from the air. There was a stillness up there that was truly special and the descent after an hour was very smooth and we disembarked to champagne cocktails and a memory that will stay forever.

I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Balloon rides in Cappadocia it was spectacular. We were first up and went into the valley among the fairy chimenys for a long time. The scenery at Cappadocia was really marvelous. You could see the fairy like hills.

All that time , the pilot was in radio contact with a van below. The pilot told us that the van was heading in the same direction as the balloon and would be picking us up when we land.

On landing, there was clapping and a celebration with red wine was in order. So, for all of you visiting Cappadocia, don’t miss this hot air balloon trip!!

I would highly, highly recommend this experience, it was just amazing. I was a bit worried it would be scary, because I’m not great with heights, but it was so gentle and peaceful and the captain and crew were lovely – one of the best mornings of my life. The sight of the balloons slowly rising above the amazing valleys of Cappadocia is something everyone should see.

Ballooning in Cappadocia was a wonderful experience. Took on the tour with a little trepidation as not overly fond of heights but the flight was well worth the effort of dealing with the nerves. Beautifully clear morning with over 100 balloons silently gliding across the sky.

The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
