Activity info

Turkish Night Show is organized not only to let you experience Turkish culture and traditions but also to have a real entertainment and show after a relaxing Cappadocia day. We pick you up from your hotel in Goreme or other towns of Cappadocia at 20:00 in winter and 20:30 in summer and drive you to one of the cave restaurants of Cappadocia where the show will be performed.

The show begins with a short, 10 minutes version of Whirling Dervishes Ceremony which will give you an idea about how it is. For the real, religious ceremony we suggest ”Whirling Dervishes Ceremony” tour program. During the whole night, there will be live music performed by a traditional costumes wearing band. After the dervishes, folk dancers come in their local dresses and the dances start.

The dancers, including the bride and groom, come on the dance floor and perform the traditional way, which a girl gets married in Turkey. The bride dressed in a beautiful red dress dances in the middle and the groom comes up and put on different shows for her. He first shows how handsome he is, and than how strong he is and finally how rich he is. After rejecting all these shows one by one, the bride accepts to get married with him when the groom tells that his heart beats for her. While they are starting to their wedding dance, all the guests are invited to dance with them, as well.

After a couple of other folk dances from different parts of Turkey, the highlight of the night comes: Belly Dancer! She makes her breath-taking dance and then goes around all the tables to take one man from each table. The men have a great time while they are learning the secrets of belly-dancing with some basic figures. Their wives? Well, it was made sure there were no sharp objects around, before the belly dancer!

After some other dances and shows like fire dance, caucasian dance with knives and drum show, the night ends around 23:45 and we drive you back to your hotel for a deep sleep.

During the night the waiters will serve unlimited soft and alcholic drinks with appetizers. The main course will be lamb with rice, the traditional wedding meal of Turkey.

Me and four friends sought out a good, traditional belly dance show in Cappadcia. The shuttle arrived on time. The service was good, although a little slow, especially to pick up empty plates. The show was awesome and very funny at times. We truly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the evening. As soon as you walk in the cave restaurant the décor takes your breath away. The table service was A1 and many friendly faces make the evening a perfect send off for any visitor to Cappadocia. The food was delicious and very fresh, the best Turkish food I tasted.

Absolutely loved this show. We went on a wednesday evening so it was quiet and we got a table at the front to see the show. Starter was lovely and the main course chicken was a bit rubbery but all done professionally. I highly recommend everybody. Thank you very much for your help.

Great show that gave us a very nice memory from Cappadicia! We are home now in a really cold Moscow but thinking about the belly dance show makes us warmer:-) Easy concept with transportation from the hotel, fixed dinner menu and a warm and great show. Especially belly dancers and the small theatres that was played.

Cave restaurant was very good and the food was nice,. The dancing can make you a little dizzy so you can always look away, there is crowd interaction. The culture and dress ware is very nice. My only criticism is that they shold have had a better english speaker explaining the dancing as we could not make him out or understand…

The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
