Visit the Topkapi Palace, once the palace of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, Topkapi is a vast treasury of Islamic culture, science and weaponry, visited by over 2 million people every year. It is one of the highlights of Turkey. Visit the Underground Cistern (Basilica Cistern),waterway was used as a reservoir for water storage for the Great Palace and other buildings. It is 132 m length, by 65m wide. There are 336 columns in the cistern. Most of the column capitals are either in Corinthian or Doric Style. It’s impressive. After leaving the Basilica Cistern you will finally have the opportunity to do some haggling at the Grand Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is like any bazaar except that, as its explains, it is all within one huge building. Depending on how you measure it, the covered market here could be the largest shopping center in the world, numbering over 4,000 individual shops, you will find among masses of modern trash an approximation of youthful dreams of the glamorous oriental market.Inclusions

We had a great full day tour of Istanbul. The tour was booked as from a cruise ship arrival for 10 people. I must say we realy enjoyed we had a great time.
Topkapi Palace contains breathtaking pavilions covered with beautiful ceramic tiles, elaborate delicate plasterwork, and gold; and on the inside are beautifully decorated. There is somethingforeveryoneherewith collections of jewels, costumes and arms/armour,and a restaurantthat,while expensive, has unrivalled views over the Bosphorus and tasty food.
Since you visit the Hagia Sophia area, you should pay a visit at the Basilica Cistern. It is an impressive nearly 1500-year-old monument from the early Byzantine era. The most striking thing is the lighting, making it very atmospheric. A tip here… Don't try to photoshoot with a flash. You will only get a black background.
This is so big its really a whole day job to see properly, and a knowledgable guide is worth the price. Early start advisable, as the queues start early. Wide angle lens for the interiors is advisable, especially in the Harem.
We were a group of 8on a Medertian Cruise Wed used this company for a day trip in Istanbul. We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
