There is quite a few gems in the archaeology museum, including a portion of the chain that the Byzantines would place across the Golden Horn to protect Constantinople from attach. The displays are not so great (with a few exceptions), but it a way it makes the museum more interesting.
We were only in Istanbul for one day, but thanks to the excellent work of our tour guide Gokhan our party of eight was able to get a real taste of the city. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time in this fascinating place.
In the grand bazaar, you can find many things. And out of this many things, 99% of the stuff are stuff that you will not use in your life. These are usually overpriced in the grand bazaar and you will need to have lots of patience to look around to compare prices and negotiate.

Topkapi Palace is a beautiful Palace and at the back there is a cafe with a great view over the Bosphorus. We all enjoyed this palace.
We arranged a tour of Istanbul and Ephesus and both were top notch. Good drivers and guides, prompt service. Our guide arranged a traditional lunch for our group close to Ephesus and it was excellent, reasonable price and nice cold beer on a hot day! Topkapi Palace is great place, especially the Harem. lot of things to see and very beautiful buildings and rooms, especially the Harem!

The Topikapi Palace is the best tourist attraction in Istanbul and here is a few tips to help you enjoy it. This Palace is vast , allow yourself at least 2 to 3 hours here.
