When you arrive the airport of Izmir your private guide will be waiting to lead you to your own luxury vehicle, during a 40 minute ride to Ephesus, your guide gives you a brief info about the area and about the country, you can relax and enjoy the cooled soft drinks and appetizers.
As you arrive in Ephesus, you will first see the Magnesia Gate, a marvelous example of ancient architecture that once stood tall as an entrance to the city. Begin a down hill walk with your guide into the city’s ruins. The route will take you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater, one of the city’s best-preserved monuments, it is still used today for the local spring festival. It once had seating space for 24,000 people, and it is believed to be the site where St Paul preached to the Ephesians.
After enjoying the Turkish cuisine at lunch, you will visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she spent last days of her life. Visit Temple of Artemis one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and Basilica of St John, before returning to arirport of Izmir where you tour concludes or hotel araund Izmir or Kusadasi.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 7 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability.
- At time of booking, Cruise Ship passengers must provide the following details under Special Requirements: Ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
- Children 6-18 years must be accompanied by an adult
- Please enter your preferred pickup time in the Special Requirements box at the time of booking, and reconfirm 48 hours prior to the tour’s departure time.
- Ephesus requires walking long distances over uneven surfaces, comfortable clothing and closed toe, sensible walking shoes are recommended. Sunglasses and sunscreen are suggested.
- We will ensure your timely return to the Kusadasi or Izmir port for this activity. If you are not returned to the ship in time to board, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call.

la verdad creo que lo mejor que he hecho a sido tomar este tour privado de dia completo por efeso aparte vimos la casa de la virgen maria la basilica de san juan el templo de artemisa y tambien comimos muy pero muy bien la comida realmente es maravillosa creo que habre subido un par de kilos mientras estaba en turquia 🙂 el guia que nos recibio al salir del crusero era muy bueno y divertido se llamaba ALÄ° se ve que es una buena persona y tambien bastante conocida en todos los lugares que entramos lo conocian y lo saludaban bien cordialmente el tiempo que pasamos con el fue muy grato,, no puedo dejar pasar tambien que es muy profesional cada lugar de efeso casa esquina de la casa de la virgen maria o de el templo de artemisa fue todo muy bien explicado tan bien que no sentimos la necesidad de preguntar algo recomiendo sin duda alguna a mi guia y a la agencia…
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
We did a private tour of Ephesus, The Terrace Houses and Sirince Vilalge and it was an amazing day and the views in Sirince were great. We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. The private tour was by far one of the best we have ever had, and was comparable to the larger ship tours.
There were 6 adults in our group. They picked us up at port they will bringing the wheelchair with. Very comfortable air conditioned vehicle. We had our own personal tour of Ephesus then a wonderful lunch. The site is difficult for wheelchairs due to the uneven marble road.
This is a realy great tour,. the car was new and very clean, the guide well spoken and knowledgeable.
