The tour of the ruins was quite spectacular and extensive, with a re-enactment of the gladiators at the end of the tour. The ruins were up-close, not roped off, and you could actually touch them! I was especially enamored with the library ruins.

My husband and I had arranged the tour in advance of our arrival by cruise ship. We made the arrangements via e-mail and all of our questions were responded to quickly and professionally.

We generally book tours through the cruise line but are so glad we make the choice to do this private tour. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.

This was well worth the money. Emrah was the bet tour guide. Very professional (he was in a suit) and so very nice and friendly. All in all this was the best tour we did.

Sirince is a nice contrast to ruins, history, and the "hustle and bustle" of Kusadasi. It's a fairly short drive up into the hills surrounding Selcuk, although the roads are narrow with lots of tight curves.

The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
