After leaving the Archaeology Museum, you will finally have the opportunity to do some haggling at the Grand Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is like any bazaar except that, as its explains, it is all within one huge building. Depending on how you measure it, the covered market here could be the largest shopping center in the world, numbering over 4,000 individual shops, you will find among masses of modern trash an approximation of youthful dreams of the glamorous oriental market.

Hagia Sophia it's absolutely mind blowing. Marvelous. Personally, the best attraction we visited in Istanbul.
The Grand Bazaar was one of the reasons we went to Istanbul although for rather an unusual reason – my two boys were fascinated by the fact that both Sky Fall and Taken 2 were filmed either motorbiking or running over the roof and the fact that their Assassin's Creed game was partly set in the Bazaar!
It was a new experience to see Asia/persia/.. as the center and start of culture. Great exposition. The sarcofage section is a must see.
Hagia Sophia was probably the best sight on our trip. I really enjoyed walking round, We didnt have a tour guide, just a book we were reading through, that was more than enough. Its sheer size is hard to take in. Definitely enjoyed being free to walk around and soak everything in rather than have a guide on this one.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day and have no hesitation recommending anyone visiting this incredible city. Thanks
Hagia Sophia fantastic old building currently undergoing major renovation work so many of the paintings etc undercover, good idea to buy the 72 hour museum pass as you can then. Jump the queue.
Hagia Sophia is truly superb and well worth visiting. Unfortunately for us, our visit coincided with major renovation works inside with scaffolding obscuring a large area. The mosaics are amazing!
