Goreme has a very unique rock formations. Fairy chimneys, caves, animal-like rock formations. It’s not found in any other countries, i guess. The rock formations can resemble many things (dolphins, gorilla, duck, and even The Most Blessed Virgin Mary). There is even at one location, the Fairy chimney family, which locals call it consist of the Grandpa, the Grandma, the Father and the Mother with a baby. One way to see the vast Cappadocia land and various kind of rocks formation is by hot air balloon trip so you can see until quite a distance, or make a trip to the viewing point of Goreme.

If you have a bit of more time, take a hike through the hills and valleys so you can have a closer look other areas that is not included in any tour (if you take one), but choose a route that has access road to it so you don’t get lost (like what i and my wife did), you will feel great about it and won’t regret doing it. Suggestion: take a hat to cover from the sun, apply sunblocks, bring a lot of water, and don’t forget your camera with tripod and extra memory card, remember always bring area map with you, and better use a proper shoes.

It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.

I was initially a bit hesitant about making this trip as some accidents had been reported in UK press. I am so glad I decided to go ahead. We arrived to see the ballon being inflated as we had coffee and cookies. The experience itself was outstanding. We watched the sunrise and other balloons floating above us then it was our turn to board. This was the most difficult part of the trip as I needed help to clamber aboard.Once we took off it was just lovely to float up and look down on the strangest and most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. Lava formations seemed like fairytale castles and the cave dwellings could be clearly seen from the air. There was a stillness up there that was truly special and the descent after an hour was very smooth and we disembarked to champagne cocktails and a memory that will stay forever.

I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Swords Church is 17 km far to Nevsehir centurum. Swords Church has been carved out of the soft volcanic rocks and it is composed of large and small churches, monasteries, Byzantine Church architecture and the most important works of religious architecture.

The baloon ride was the highlight of the trip to Capadoccia. Fantastic experience not to be missed.

ephesus tours

The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
